Intimacy and Mental-Health Coordinator ARYN MOTT hosts a very special workshop “SAFE SETS & SELF CARE” where they’ll teach us what an IC does, what makes a safe set, and what tools should be in your arsenal to exist in this wild and wacky industry.

BIO: Aryn is a queer, non-binary, award-winning and Canada’s first certified mental health, intimacy coordinator and performer, advocating for consent-based, trauma-informed spaces. Recognized by CAEA, SAG-AFTRA and UBCP/ACTRA, with 300+ hours of Intimacy Training, 3000 hrs and over 300 days of on-set experience, their skills are well vetted. With over two decades in Film and Theatre, Aryn promotes collaboration, diversity, ethical storytelling, sustainability, and consent. Selected credits include Shogun S1, Death and Other Details, Suits LA Pilot, The Ornament, Riding Shotgun and Lunar Sway. Pursuing a Master's in counselling with plans for a PhD exploring performers' psychological and physiological experiences. Active committee member at UBCP/ACTRA, The Association of Mental Health Coordinators AMHC, and faculty at Vancouver Film School.
